Challenges and Solutions to the Role of Bawaslu in Electoral Law Enforcement: Best Practices in Technology and Innovative Models in the Era

This research examines the challenges and solutions in the enforcement of electoral law in Indonesia during the 2024 General Election, covering issues such as vote manipulation, discrepancies in voter data, and difficulties in evidence collection. Problems of vote manipulation and result tampering were found in South Sulawesi and North Sumatra, while voter data discrepancies were identified in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan, and Aceh. The research method employed was qualitative with a literature review approach, involving a comprehensive analysis of scholarly journal articles and reports from international organisations. The research findings conclude that technological innovations such as CCTV can enhance transparency and accuracy in election monitoring. Case studies from developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, South Korea, and India show that this technology can reduce fraud and increase public trust in election results. Practical recommendations are provided to strengthen the enforcement of electoral law in Indonesia.
